Today's #Go52 post is purposefully one day late. Today marks one week from my Career Day visit to Benjamin Banneker Elementary School in Kansas City, KS. I had the good fortune of sharing what I do with 3 groups of kindergarteners; 61 in total. As always, they were full of creativity and each group wrote their own unique story with me. We read Ella and One Tiny Thing together and I gave each student an Ella Ambassador pin; a reminder to be kind to others and spread good in the world.
There has been a lot of violence making headlines in the past few weeks. That can often make it hard to see the good that is still prevalent in the world around us. It could be easy to allow the negativity to overwhelm you, but in doing so you'll miss all the beauty that still exists.
This week's #Go52 theme is right on time once again; kind.

"No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted." - Aesop
Be kind to those around you. Tell someone that they're important to you. Thank someone for a small act (or a large one). It may stretch much farther than you imagine. While you're busy being kind, illustrate it. Tag it. #Go52 #BeKind #EllaAmbassadors
